RENTAL
Labcom Technologies understands that certain measurement requirements are only temporary and do not warrant the purchase of expensive equipment. Therefore we own a pool of test equipment that is available for rental purposes. These items comprise most of the popular test equipment groups, but the inventory changes constantly.

TRAINING
Labcom Technologies has the experience and resources to develop custom training modules in the fields of electronic test and measurement. Our staff and trainers have over a decade’s experience of a vast array of measurement parameters. Including but not limited to the following:

SERVICE & CALIBRATION
Our service facility at Labcom Technologies is for the most part able to service and/or repair your faulty or suspect test equipment. We have local experts with decades of experience in service and repair work. In addition we are able to source spare parts for a wide range of equipment. In the unlikely event of us being unable to repair your equipment locally, we will immediately return it to you and, upon request, provide you with a fault report. Certain complex equipment require OEM hardware and/or software in which case we will make a best effort to bring you directly in contact with the OEM supplier.
The nature of test equipment is such that faults are usually not visible and therefore have to be traced by a fault finding process, making the quotation process a little more difficult. We will usually spend some time to locate faults and provide a quotation free of charge.
However if the fault finding process takes too long, we will discuss it with the customer and a quote fee will apply. Upon acceptance of the quote, this fee will be refunded.
Labcom Technologies are also able to provide you with a traceable calibration service. Our turnaround time upon appointment is 48 – 72 hours. Without pre booking, the turnaround is unpredictable, but usually not more than a week.
Our approved calibration partner is Precision Measurements which is based in Pretoria. As a SANAS accredited laboratory, PM will provide the customer with ISO/IEC17025 accredited calibration services. For bulk calibration work, customer site calibration services are permanently available countrywide.

FORENSIC INVESTIGATION
Labcom Technologies provide a forensic investigation service to our clients in the insurance industry. Most insurance claims assessors are non-technical people and therefore not qualified to determine the cause of damage leading to claims of electronic and electrical equipment.
We will investigate all technical aspects of an event or malfunction of equipment and compile detailed reports.
These reports are submitted to the client helping them to complete the claims process in a fair and just way.
Forensic investigations vary widely in complexity and circumstances, causing costs to be unpredictable.
